Jay White

James "Jay" White is one of Wilson County’s trusted and top selling brokers, counting among his clients are numerous distinguished business and community leaders. Jay received both his Real Estate License and Auction License in 1987 and has over 30 years of experience working with individuals, investors and developers interested in the most coveted properties.

Jay is consistently sought after for his ability to understand the highest and best potential when working with land development and land division. No matter if taking a single large parcel of land and turning it into a multi parcel development, Jay not only has the vision but also can walk the land owner through the very detailed process. A few of the high-profile land division projects were Starstruck Farm and Belle Isle Plantation.

With family roots in Wilson County, Jay is deeply connected to Middle TN. He was born in Gladeville; and as a youth he belonged to 4-H and is a lifetime member of the FFA. If you ask any of his high school teachers, they will tell you the same story, Jay knew exactly what he wanted to do at a young age – Auctioneer and Real Estate Agent. In 2019 he was inducted into the TAA (Tennessee Auctioneers Association) Hall of Fame because of his high standards and integrity.

Jay’s ability to have an interactive and high valued auction is often sought after for many fund-raising events. While supporting many local nonprofit organizations by donating his auction skills to assist in meeting their goals. Believing in educational opportunities, Wilson County Schools programs and Cumberland University programs have benefitted from his live auction skills. Several different youth sports organizations, 4-H, St Jude and Prospect are an example of who have all been part of his portfolio of giving back.

When Jay isn’t working, he is spending time with his family, supporting organizations by sitting on different boards, and a long-standing member with the Lebanon Wilson Chamber of Commerce.
